Children In Cages

Rightwingers, these children we have separated from their families and tossed in cages....they are going to be PTSD for the rest of their lives.

Some will get better. Many will get better. They will always carry some sadness but they will be able to live a decent life, have a home, have a family, be OK.

Some won't get much better, will always be depressed, alcoholic, drug addicted, jobless, maybe homeless, sad forever.

Some will never get any better at all, will get much worse and they will come back and get you. They will make you cry, make you beg, burn your house down, steal your stuff, rape your women, kill your children.

That's what happens sometimes, when you traumatize someone so badly they BREAK.

I do not support this behavior. I do not want this behavior. I am not gloating about this. I am just telling you what sometimes happens when you break tiny people, when you make them scream and cry, terrified, lonely and reaching out for a mother who is no longer there.

River, Poop, Rain

I never wax scatological. I am not 8. ... and I never complain about our animals...

BUT....

River is refusing to poop because it is sprinkling outside. She started to squat, the wind blew a little rain on her punkin head and she jumped and ran to the door.

We had the following conversation:

Me: River, you have not pooped since yesterday evening. It is time.

River: Bradley, the dumb cat, poops in a box INDOORS. You and my other mom, go to that room you call a bathroom. I have two moms. ME?! I am supposed to poop in the god damned rain?! In what world is that fair?!

Me: River, you are literally a wolf. That is why they don't consider wolf/dog puppies true hybrids. YOU ARE LITERALLY A WOLF... POOP! ...and cussing is unbecoming in a dog.

River: No. Fuck that.

Rape

Truthfully, the rape info about Kirk Douglas was never more than a rumor. Natalie Wood never used his name. She only hinted. There is only circumstantial evidence.

However, in the era of Hollywood when he was most popular, sexual assault was commonplace. THAT is not enough to hang a man who might be innocent but to get angry at women for jumping on it means you do not get it.

Do you have ANY idea how prevalent rape is? Do you? According to the CDC, one in five women and one in seventy men have REPORTED being raped. Most of the men who have been raped were also raped by men. Kevin Spacey, go hang yourself.

...and the MAJORITY of rapes are NOT reported.

I just posted a good article about rape but it completely leaves out rape by extortion. The casting couch. "Ok lady, you have dreamed of being an actor since you were tiny. So, Kirk may well be innocent and just because he is from the era in Hollywood when this was commonplace does not make him guilty. ....and accusing an innocent man can devastate their life BUT rape is commonplace and it ALWAYS devastates the woman. Her prison is forever. The average prison sentence for a rapist is 8 years. The singer and actress, Connie Francis barely ever left her home again after being raped in an elevator.

33% of rape victims have suicidal thoughts.

About 13% of rape victims will attempt suicide.

Suicide attempts may occur years after the rape.

Only 5-8% of rape accusations are false.

Take a look at people's responses to the MeToo movement.

So, my thoughts about Dead Kirk are not going to harm him. "He's dead, Jim..." A false rape accusation, as I said, can devastate a man's life but false accusations are RARE and trying to use the possibility that he is completely innocent to demean rape victims and the MeToo movement when rape always devastates a woman's life and it's NOT RARE.. Well then, that just makes you an asshole. ...

One more thing. If you do not think I understand the horror of being falsely accused of something, you don't know me at all. I have a history of alcoholism and mental illness. I have been falsely accused of things I did not do, many times and even by friends and lovers. Not rape, of course but some pretty bad shit. People like me are the Go To people, if you want to falsely accuse someone and the biggest horror is, when we say we didn't do it, people still don't believe us.
